Guest Parking Buddy ("we," "us," "our") provides guest parking registration software for homeowners associations and condo associations. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it's used.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with the service, we collect:

• From guests registering to park: name, vehicle make/model, vehicle color, license plate number and state, and which unit they're visiting.
• From homeowners and board members: name and email address, used to send parking notifications.
• From association administrators: email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password itself, only a one-way cryptographic hash of it).
• Billing information: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

Information is used strictly to operate the service: notifying board members and homeowners when a guest registers to park, flagging unrecognized guests, managing your association's account and subscription, and sending administrative emails (like password resets).

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the product work:

• Postmark — sends our transactional emails (registration notices, password resets)
• Stripe — processes subscription payments
• Our hosting and database providers, who store the data securely on our behalf

Within an association, guest registration details (name, vehicle, plate) are visible to that association's board administrators and to the homeowner of the unit being visited — that visibility is the core function of the service.

Data retention

We retain registration records for as long as an association's account is active, so boards can review parking history. If an association's account is deleted, its associated data is deleted as well.

Your choices

Board administrators can add, edit, or remove unit and owner information directly from their dashboard. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the address below.
